Diego Frazão Torquato, known as the Violin Diego ( 1997 - Duque de Caxias , April 1 of 2010 ) was a Brazilian violinist ... Diego was part of the violin's string orchestra Afroreggae and "became a symbol of hope" for the fight against Leukemia and indignation against the crime of the group's leader, John Evandro da Silva ... From early childhood, Diego lived with diseases such as Meningitis, but nevertheless he never lost the enthusiasm for the music ... He had classical training, but spent feeling in the implementation, which included tears at the funeral of the leader of Afroreggae, reported prominently by the Brazilian press, which would give him notoriety ...


The newspaper O Globo reported the image "as one of the most exciting in recent memory" ... He has left his legacy of bravery and a passion for learning with so much love and respect for his mentor. If there is such a place where the spirits gather Then I am without doubt that the lessons they shared will continue to Unite all those kind souls with the mystical joy of their sounds. That at least gives me HOPE......
